A number of you have been emailing and asking us, Hey, when in the heck is Jonah in the Time of the Kings going to be released? Let me give you the short and the long answer. Jonah is complete - except, my wonderful editor went on vacation for a few weeks, and the way it works is this: You send your final manuscript back in to your publisher, and then, they take another 2-3 weeks putting it into the system, and then, they send you your "galleys" (that's the printed pages for one final look). You only get on shot at bringing a vision to life, so it better be your best and it better be completed correctly the first time. You live with it for a lifetime.
Besides all that...God desired to show me something that I didn't know. Now I do. Sometimes that's how inspiration works. For one reason or another, you are ready, or you're not ready to deal with a character and their problem, or perhaps even, it's really your problem - and you don't understand something - or you cannot comprehend a Spiritual reality. That is what is so exciting about all this. I mean truly, I've got to deal with Jonah later too. You don't. What I mean by that is this: In heaven. I surely don't want the likes of Jonah tangling with me because I didn't get something right, or, that he is particularly offended by some slur I cast upon him. Not Jonah.
